We painted 10,640 light bulbs silver for Country Road’s Christmas window displays. Mark Tigani from Country Road rang me in desperation as no one in Melbourne could help him in the time required. I said I’d call him back with an answer in 20 minutes.
We took a globe out of the tea room and hung it on the powder coating line. Twenty minutes later I had a black globe in my hand and I called Mark and asked him to get the light bulbs delivered.
One week later Country Road shipped them across the nation – 10,640 silver light bulbs, we only broke 16 in the process!
